Abstract

The aim of this study is to compare the fracture strength of provisional partial prosthetic bridge (PPPB) manufactured with different materials. PPPB were made with the proprietary materials: Dencor, Duralay, Luxatemp, Snap, (n=10). Each prosthetic bridge was manufactured according to manufacturer instructions. The Fractural strength value were submitted to statistical analysis with ANOVA and Tuckey tests (p < 0,05). The Fractural strength (MPa) averages were: Dencor 59.16 > Duralay 44.48 > Luxatemp 31.52= Snap 29.69. The provisional partial prosthetic bridge made with Dencor and Duralay showed higher results than I Luxatemp and Snap.
