Informed consent form in Implantology

Abstract

The dentistry scientific and technological development in recent times, and implantation techniques, in particular, has stimulated the oral rehabilitation treatment. Besides these new developments, the computer technology and globalized knowledge of all citizens has increased significantly the level of expectation about the treatment success, leading to some embarrassing situations and even to some legal issues. This present work shows several situations found in the daily implants rehabilitation treatment, emphasizing the informational aspect and the acquiring knowledge through some consent forms, as a factor for good patient-professional relationship to the success of the treatment.
