Abstract

The study aimed to verify the continued vitality of the pulp stumps after healing with zinc oxide, in order to complete the genesis without radicular dentin barrier formation. Of the 11 teeth with incomplete root formation, selected in ten patients, no one formed dentin barrier by using zinc oxide as a coating of the remaining pulp tissue, using the technique of pulpotomy as conservative pulp therapy. The remaining pulp tissue remained with vitality and physiological development and final closure of the root were complete.
