Clinical protocol of FO/UFF Implants specialization course

Abstract

At the Universidade Federal Fluminense School of Dentistry, implants with clinical care is taught as a specialization course. After attending a lecture in which he was informed of the possible procedures at the implant clinic, the applicant comes to the preclinical consultation. Those who present themselves in favorable clinical conditions are referred to treatment, which starts only after the patient read and signs the terms. The present article has the purpose of presenting the clinical care protocol used in the implant courses of FO/UFF (Niterói).
