The infective endocarditis and the treatment periodontal in patients at risk.

Abstract


The present study shows the relation that exists between infective endocarditis and periodontics. The authors discuss about periodontal disease in patients at risk for the pathology, and also about the main concepts that should be considered to give to the patient the highest degree of protection in this situation, during the treatment.
