Luciano Bonatelli Bispo

Abstract

Technology brought the possibility to overcome human limitations in clinical practice. The increase in postoperative comfort for the patient could only be possible through the well-being of the professional responsible for the multiple daily clinical interventions. Visual fatigue can be minimized with resource to some magnification type. The refined treatment in the manipulation of the periodontal tissues in plastic microsurgeries, together with the improvement in the cicatrisation and in the postoperative results would suffice to justify the use of magnification. However, the results in Endodontics, in Operative Dentistry and in the Prosthesis, they established the microscope as an alternative that deserves to be better known in contemporary clinical practice. Therefore, this work has the objective of illustrating that technology to clinicians that want to increase their productivity and to invest in comfort for their patients and for their own career.
