Plunging ranula treated by marsupialization: a case report

Abstract


The aim of this work is to report a case of plunging ranula, review its characteristics and discuss the surgical treatment. The authors report a plunging ranula in a fourteen year old female patient treated by marsupialization. The main objectives of the marsupialization are discussed, as well as the main indications.
