Methods for evaluating the resistance to infiltration of root-canal fillings

Abstract


The adequate sealing of the root canal system obtained by the obturation prevents microbial infiltration between the root canal walls and filling material, reducing the possibility of failure of the endodontic treatment. The aim of this study was review the literature about different methods for evaluating infiltration resistance of root-canal obturation.
