Validation of an assessment questionnaire and evaluation of dental hygienists’ profiles
Abstract
The aims of this study was to validate an assessment
instrument by test-retest method and to verify general
and employment profiles of DH graduated in Health
Technical School (HTS) of State University of Montes
Claros. This pilot study was performed with a halfstructuralized
questionnaire applied twice at two weeks
intervals, to DH. The questionnaire was validated
using statistical significant concordance among the presented
questions. As to the profiles, there was a marked
female prevalence, with strong interest for continued
education and job market widening, such as provided
for by the brazilian Unified Health System.
