The role of Dentistry at Work on worker’s health

Abstract

In order to discuss the importance of Dentistry at Work insertion in the working environment of companies was conducted a survey of the history of this specialty articulated the necessary attention to the working class expresses with regard to prevention and health promotion in various types of work environments, in which workers fall, aiming to qualify and quantify the occupational diseases that most affect employees in them inserted. It was concluded that Dentistry at Work should provide protection to workers against risks to their health arising from labor activity or due to conditions under which it is performed, especially by encouraging the use of individual protection equipment.
