Paradental cyst: report of clinical case
Abstract
The diagnosis of paradental cyst more than ever
requires the association of clinical, radiographic and
histopathological findings, due to the fact that its characteristics are similar in several aspects to other pathologies. Misdiagnosis and subsequent mistreatment could be avoided if the entire dental follicle were sent to histopathological examination, along with clinical and radiographic findings. In this article it is presented
a case of paradental cyst, as well as a discussion of
clinical, imaginological and histological aspects, differential
diagnosis and treatment.
