The new tecnology of therapeutic laser in pain control
Abstract
The Low intensity level laser has been used in the therapeutics of alveolitis, temporomandibular dysfunction,
bruxism, maxillary dysjunction, recurrens stomatitis, gingivitis, herpetic gingivostomatitis, herpes labialis, benign migratory glossitis, glossodinia, dentin hypersensitiveness, implantology, mucositis, trigeminal neuralgia, dentalgia, BELL´s palsy, paresthesia, pericementitis, pericoronitis, periodontitis, angular cheilitis, tissue repair (post-operating), traumatic ulcera, caries differential diagnosis, and others. This new technology shouldn’t be overlooked: among its benefits are its simplified use, low cost, analgesic effect, anti-inflammatory effect and biostimulating effect. There are many studies that corroborate its effectiveness.
