An Analysis of Public Policies Aimed for Dental Health Services in Brazil.

Abstract

Public policies can be defined as a government of the set of actions, consisting of rules and procedures that assist in the relations between government and society to solve collective problems. The aim of this paper was to analyze public policies for public oral health services in Brazil. The results showed that dental care process needs to be improved, establishing up public policies consistent with our reality and user satisfaction should be the primary goal of all health care health service. It was concluded that there are compensatory in public policy today that aim for public dental care in order to achieve priority goals, choosing to benefit the poor or needy patients.
